(last updated 16th October 2012)

Sunday morning brought us our main Parish Harvest Thanksgiving when the preacher was the Rev. Canon Derick Swann, formerly Rector of Drumglass - retired he may be but had a very relevant message for us all. The choir as always hadspecial music prepared for the harvest and the church was well filled to make this one of the biggest and best services of the year as we came to give thanks for all the goodness and mercy we have received at God’s hand.

The service on Sunday evening was a Community Harvest Thanksgiving when everyone from across the town was invited to join in the familiar hymns and prayers of thanksgiving. The preacher at this service was be the former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, the Rev. Dr Ken Newell.

There now follows a selection of photographs as a permanent record of the weekend. The Harvest 2011 page can still be seen by clicking HERE.
          HARVEST SERVICES 2012
Our Thanksgiving for Harvest took place this year over the weekend of 12th-14th October. It was filled with activities beginning with a special Youth Harvest on Friday evening featuring a liturgy and special music geared towards younger people. The preacher was the Rev. Andrew Forster, Rector of Drumglass, Dungannon - a colourful character who delivered a sermon illustrated with much blowing up and deflating of balloons!
